Installation Instructions

Step 1: Preparation

• Make sure the device is turned off, and if possible, remove the battery before installation.

• Wash your hands thoroughly and wet your fingertips with the included solution.

• Using a lint-free cloth, clean the device, removing any dirt, grime, or fingerprints.

Step 2: Application

1. Identify the TechSkin™ pieces and where they fit by comparing the pieces with the actual device.

2. With wet fingers, remove the TechSkin™ pattern piece from the backing paper and spray it with the application solution, moistening both sides of the exposed film. DO NOT let the film stick to anything that is not wet. (TIP: Keeping your fingers moist during the application process will keep your fingers from sticking to the film and reduce the chance of leaving fingerprints).

3. Apply the TechSkin™ piece to the device, adhesive side down. Align the film so that cutouts are evenly centered on any holes, logos, or buttons on the device.

STOP: If your film is improperly aligned, this is the time to remove it and repeat the steps above. Removing the film after the adhesive side has dried may cause it to stretch or deform.

5. Using the installation card, push the excess solution and bubbles away from the center to the edges of the film. AVOID pushing the solution and bubbles into the cutouts, holes, or buttons on the device.

6. Soak up any excess solution with a lint-free cloth.

Step 3: Perfection

• Allow 12 to 24 hours after installation before turning on the device.

• Micro-Bubbles, streaks, and imperfections will disappear within a few days.

Helpful Tips:

Perform installation in a clean and dust free environment for best results. For difficult edges or rounded corners, allow a few minutes for the TechSkin™ to dry or use a blow dryer on LOW/COOL setting to dry the area on the film. This will make the TechSkin™ tackier and easier to position correctly.
